Hello, I’m Sarah Hardy – a multi-disciplinary visual artist based in Leeds. I make paintings, drawings, sound and moving image.

I notice patterns and connections that others might walk past. That’s the engine behind the work, and it shows: threads of water, light, space and the human experience run through everything, alongside a curiosity about what technology reveals about us rather than replaces in us.

The work holds something up and waits. It doesn’t tell you what to feel.

In 2023 I co-created Lulling the Tide with Megan McClean, an immersive exhibition bringing together video, installation, sound and painting. I’m showing new work in a solo exhibition in April 2027.
