Sarah Hardy is a Leeds based artist exploring memory, place and experience. Working mainly with abstraction for many years, since lockdown 2020 her focus has shifted to creating more figurative work that explores narratives around the times and experiences we’re living through.
Her work is currently informed by multiple sources such as personal experiences, photographs, religion and current affairs, and often has a dreamlike (or nightmarish, depending on your viewpoint) quality.
Smaller pieces and prints are available to purchase here, for commissions please get in touch.
Sarah is currently on the committee for Kirkstall Art Trail, an annual event that aims to promote local artists at any stage in their career, and engage the local community with the arts. You can find out more about the trail or get involved here.
